Yerbearserker · Empire Builder
In this episode of BCZ YapZ, Zaal sits down with Jordan (aka Yerbearserker), co-founder of Empire Builder, for a wide-ranging conversation on building sustainable onchain ecosystems. Jordan walks through his unconventional path into Web3 - from outdoor education and digital media to token design - and lays out the philosophy behind Empire Builder: helping creators and communities move from idea to durable, generative infrastructure. The discussion digs deep into digital scarcity, creator tokens, incentives, and why value should be built in products and communities first, not price charts.

You better call.
What's up everybody? Welcome back to another Better Calls, all yaps. I'm here with Jordan, AKA y, berserker from Empire Builder. It's awesome to have you on today, Jordan, how are you doing? I'm doing well, thank you. It's uh, it's great to be here. It's fresh, it's brisk. I know it's, uh, early where you are. It's a bit later where I am, and, uh, it's been wonderful to, to get, to meet you, get to, to know about you and what you're building and to help be a part of that.
A hundred percent. Yeah. No, it's early, but I like these early ones personally. Um, I always feel like my mind's more refreshed. Uh, so no, I'm excited to, to chat more about Empire Builder chat, more about why, you know, we built the Zal here, uh, as a forged empire on Empire Builder. Um, but let's just get into you a little bit, share a little bit more about your background, how you kind of came to Web3.
What kind of started you on the path of Empire Builder? Awesome. Thank you. So, man, I, I have a long and varied background, lot of different experiences and, uh, careers in it. So I, I've taught outdoor education, leadership development in my early twenties. I, I took students around South Africa, Guatemala. As part of this like mentoring university program, looking at conflict resolution, a lot of different stuff like that.
Uh, which is a, a great job. But then you finish that and you're like, how does this cross over to the real world? Which is a bit more tricky. Kind of like I also taught canoeing and archery. Uh, not at the same time, but that would be fun. Uh, but, but you know, I was like trying to, you know, I went back to school, uh, to get uh, health sciences training and I had a career in health sciences as well, and I remember I had to go find a part-time job.
'cause my, my. Program was very intense. It was three, three semesters in a year, and you could only get student loan funding to cover like two. So I was like, I need, I, I need to get that. Like, because, because they're like, this is the bridge that gap, right? And I'm like, and I'm like, this is a three term. Like, like I get that, I get what you're thinking, but here's what I'm doing.
And, and so, uh, I remember looking around. I'm from kind of near Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and uh, I was gonna school in our provincial capital of Victoria, and I remember trying to be like, okay, I've done these like great things. I've led like 30 plus students in like foreign countries. We were attacked by Ben Bandidos.
Like, you know, I've gotten this, like, I've done all this kind of different stuff and, and I'm trying to get jobs and I'm going to like Starbucks. And they're like, yeah, well, we'll get back to you on that back then. Beard, beard. You know, it wasn't, uh, yeah, it wasn't So in, at that point in time, they're like, you're a big burly outdoors man.
Uh, we're not necessarily looking for that in Starbucks down here. And I was like, okay, well I can teach canoe and archery. Um, nope, they weren't, that, that wasn't being on offer in our province's capital. Um, so anyways, I ended up working at like a fancy tea store. Oh, okay. Was doing tea sampling. That's tasting all the tea stuff.
No, that's even, I worked at this outdoor, uh, education facility slash kids camp and, uh, there were a bunch of Mennonites, uh, a lot of them who came from Paraguay, Paraguay Yba mate. So I started drinking Yba mate when I was 19. There's a through thread of all of this, I was drinking Monte uh, I ended up becoming the.
The, uh, tribe connecting Salvador for Guke. Yba Mate, which is the largest yba mate company in North America. And in the US you'll see them in Whole Foods and other places. Big yellow cans. Yeah, and I ended up being, doing their digital marketing, their content strategy. Uh, let's see, what else did I do?
Health sciences, digital marketing. Taught myself trading stocks, options, crypto, kind of through that flow, just learning different things on this, mentoring, all of these kind of stuff. Long story. Oh, content creator. I was a, uh, before content creation was officially a title before, uh, influencers were legally or illegally a thing.
Um, I was doing a lot of stuff around the edges of digital disruption. I had like 30,000 followers on Google Plus I was featured on Wow. The front page of MySpace too. Yes, there was a MySpace two. Um. I, I hosted a regular variety show, a regular weekly variety show on Google Plus with another fellow named Billy Wilson.
And we had have a musician at the end. We had scientists, specialists, artists from around the world. Wow. 'cause 'cause Google brought live streaming, like, so this was, this was a long time ago. For all you kids out there? Um, no. I remember the year and a half of Google plus that I, I, I remember it wasn't around for me, so, so I did like a backpacking.
Uh, I, I was a digital nomad. I like went across to where I was invited teaching like guitar, singing, photography. I was like an. I did like editor stuff, editorial stuff. I was published in like photos published. I was, uh, writing, published for writing. I did a lot of things and, um, through the process always like just being curious about how to make a more wonderful world, how to, how to take advantage of the disruptive technologies and tools that are emerging and how we can use those to build.
Like a better world for everybody. Mm-hmm. Um, and I think what blockchain, what Web3, what on chain does is it allows what I call the means of digital scarcity. So I have this whole schema, I have a bunch of schemas, um, but one, one of them is how. Our world, our ways of life, our ways of being have evolved from the physical era, from from the physical era to the era of what I call the era of digital abundance.
Mm-hmm. So, you know, this is all of a sudden, like when we got digital and we could connect and we could like delight and dazzle and we could just put amazing things out there, and then it would spread like bunnies in the dark, it would multiply. Point, point more bunnies. Um, so anyways, so that whole era of digital abundance, this is when you get permission marketing from Seth Godin.
This is when you get the rise of eventually Patreon. This is when you get like all of these things that we, we get away from the gatekeepers. We get away from those traditional gatekeepers that said, okay, you're in. We choose you, we anoint you. We're gonna take most of the your money, but we anoint you and now you get access.
And we got around that with this digital abundance era. Mm-hmm. And so that was wonderful. But this also had different problems. And I remember like 2012. I was on my trip, so this is like 13 years ago. I remember thinking about how the means a means of digital scarcity would empower a whole different way of operating.
And then like seven years after that, or eight years, you know, Bitcoin, uh, on chain, it's like, okay, so we can have. We can have, uh, transparency and accountability baked in at a structural level. We can, we can organize in ways that limits the abuse by the dark triad Narcissists, psychopaths and Machiavellian Machiavellianism.
Um, but you know, you look at like all these old systems that like, were doing amazing, and then they got rotted out from within. So blockchain can help with all of that. So anyways, long story short, I did a lot of different things. I was helping with different projects and there was always this kind of like tool stack that I wanted, but it was like, you'd have to hire like a dev.
You'd have to find and hire and trust some random dev you hadn't met in the Wild West, and then you'd have to give them money to build something for you that who knows if it has a backdoor, like all kinds of, you know, lovely stuff that, you know, if you've been building in the space long enough, you've.
You've been burnt a time or two. And so anyways, all of that said, when Dish and Proxy launched, lanker, permissionless a AI talk to it, it'll launch a token for you, and it's audited and it's solid. I was like, Bing and, and I was like, okay, this is a game changer. Um, you don't have to spend a fortune to get a token.
You get fees off of that token, off of the attention, off of the value, and you can actually build on that in a very fascinating way. And so this connected dots for me. I then connected with my co-founder, Adrian slash Divvy Fly, who's in Australia. Mm-hmm. Um, I'm in Europe. I'm from Canada. Um, did you know him before?
Like how did, like what was that like? Why did you decide to reach out to, to Adrian there? So, so, because we'd met through a different project, we'd met through some different projects. We'd, he'd, he'd built a mini app that went viral on, on Far Caster. It was around the, uh, election, the US election. And it was around picking like, which states, how many states were gonna go.
Which way, like if these states are gonna go red, these are gonna go blue, whatever. Yeah. And then like. Jason from Moxie threw in like a big reward onto it. That incentivized a lot of people. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so, yeah, yeah, no. Oh, I get, it's just like the, you have the big prediction market of like everyone and their mom on poly market, but then you have a mini one on far caster like these individuals.
It's like a little kind of fun, additional kind. Yeah. And this was before Per right? And it was, and it, and it came up before, and it was done in, in, uh, A frame frames before they were called Mini. Okay. Interesting. Back in the day. And so he did this and I was like, okay, this is smooth. I love the ui, like very nicely built.
So I was talking with him and looking at buildings and different things, and then that kind of fell through. And so then we got on a call and he is like, so, you know, here's what I'm doing, here's what I've done. And I was like, yeah, here's what I'm doing and here's some things I'd love to see happen. And so we kind of talked about this, uh.
You know, over a year ago now. 'cause we were talking about this in late 2024. And so then we were like, yeah, let's build this, uh, this being Empire Builder. Yeah. Empire Builder being a no-code tool. Platform, tools, resources, and services. Coming, uh, to help you grow from dream to empire. Boom. So that's, that's the, that's the soundbite.
I love it. So basically, uh, met with him, spoke with him, talked with them, and I was like, here's me, here's my skillset, here's my toolbox. And he was like, here's what I can handle and tackle and do. And so we said, let's make it happen. Plus we also both have Polish wives. So that also is a, that's funny. I love that.
Make sure that things get done. Yeah. No, I think one of the things that I. I think about your background, that's really unique. That I think is a really great perspective for Web3, is the opportunity to have gone around the world a little bit and experienced different cultures and what that is because I have found a lot of growth in my cultural knowledge and just being in Web3 and learning more about like.
People across the world on the internet that are have one related interest to me and that's why we're sitting in this room together, but like a completely different lives other than that. And it's really interesting to hear about how their day-to-day is so different than my day-to-day and than just hearing about another person in another culture somewhere else across the world.
So I think. That side of Web3, when you have been able to then experience IRL go in person to some of these places, it adds a lot more of that cultural context. So I'm just really excited about the potential of this growth of this space where we are finally at a time where maybe some of these cultural borders that were challenging before at least financially can be.
Um, overcome those, like you said, gatekeepers, those, um, piece points of friction. Um, they can be overcome by technological advantages in people building together in a synergetic way, which is, I know, a big part of your kind of ethos here at Empire Builder. So, yeah, no, that, it's just awesome to hear that.
Okay, so you, you. You saw Alanor and that kind of sparked the idea. You're like, okay, seeing all this, there's, there's something more we can add in addition to, okay, now there's this piece and tool and infrastructure out into the world. What can we add that's synergetic on top of that, that people that use that tool can also, um, use another tool that also benefits 'em.
And I like, I I like how you said that no-code tool, because like you said, for, for a lot of the time, um, having to learn some of the backend processes was a big friction point for people in the Web3 space. Yeah. And, and also there's, so, there's, there's a, a barrier we're overcoming in terms of like ease of use.
Mm-hmm. And the fact that like for launching a token, uh, alanor token, like this was beautiful. You could just at Lanker and be like, launch a token with this name and this visual and this image. And Adrian had built clunky bot, which is why our token's a lanker clunky bot. 'cause he built it around that launch.
That which is one of the. Possibly the first utility focused, solely lanker, utility focused, uh, tokens that was launched with Lanker. So he had, uh, spoken with and worked with proxy and Dish, the founders of Lanker back in the day. And so back in the day, like a year and a bit ago, um, forever ago. And so.
Anyway, so he had that relationship and that we could kind of lean into as well. And, and we love what Lanker was doing and how they built up. And so we, uh, talked with them and we're like one of the early, uh, approved clank interfaces. So we made it so, you know, we could deploy tokens through Empire Builder using clank, bring this together, and then as they launch a token, we can launch the whole tool stack for the end user so that they don't have to figure out or trust anyone to make them a treasury.
Uh, to, to set up these different smart contracts. So you can distribute rewards, you can raffle, you can, uh, you can provide extra utility to other aspects of your project, uh, to NFTs or other tokens you can bring if you have. Nowadays there's such a diversification of like tokens around, uh, around a creator, a builder, you know, they have a paragraph token, they have a creator coin, they have all these things.
They're all kind of blowing in the wind, and they're usually. Those places will, will get money off of your, they, they just want your volume. Let's be honest. They don't care about you. They just want your volume and, and, and, and they don't like, they, they don't even, like, they don't need. People to become really successful.
They just need lots of people to do it and they're gonna be happy and, and, and so, so some of the key, key factors for us is like foundationally, we focus on being generative, not extractive. We are committed to being. Symbiotic not parasitic. And, and what this means is that the only way we win is when you win, is when other people win.
And so this is why, you know, so we have a fee split for Forged Empires and it's 80%, 20% creator gets 80%. Um, the 20% that we end up, that it comes to us for like operations, building, developing stuff. This is what allows us to build more tools, more resources, more services to help people become even bigger and better.
Like it's a vir, it's designed to be a virtuous cycle. And, and so, you know, this is where when I look at like all these other platforms, I'm like, cool. They're making a lot of money off of the backs of all of these people using it. And how much, how much are they putting into. Helping their people using it, use it better.
Mm-hmm. And, and, and that's like, I, I love, one of the things that I think will be wonderful with the growth of certain levels of AI and on chain stuff is we could basically say, hi ai, who's dicking me over horribly, and what's a better option to use? Like, yeah. You know, that's the thing. It's like, okay, so they're gonna take all of our money.
A lot of services focus on other people not knowing. And with the advent of being able to then parse the internet for better opportunities, that kind of service falls through the wayside very quickly. Yeah, and, and, and so there's so much we could get into and talk about. I was like writing notes just as we were getting ready.
I'm like, oh yeah, there's stuff I was thinking about on the, you know, I flew today and I was like, you know, you know one other, the thing I was thinking is, um, the fact that they chose to call things creator coins. Instead of tokens. I, I feel like coin, because coin has a connotation of money and value and, and, and trade, and it gets people to this very fiscal mindset.
Huh. And, and I think, you know, one of the things that's interesting with like on chain assets of course, is that they have digital scarcity. You can attach a value to them and you can trade them. So I'm not arguing against that. But what I'm saying, what I'm feeling is like. A token can be so much more than just being pigeonholed as a dollar value.
Yeah. And when you take, and when you take anything, so when I say, say the, one of the beautiful advantages that was unlocked when we entered the era of digital scarcity is get this. Digital scarcity. So when you take this item that is now trackable and, and is of a size and you make it and you get rid of scarcity because you make so much of it Yeah.
That every person on the world could have one and multiples of those one, um, you know, you don't have scarcity anymore. Mm-hmm. So, so how. How is that going to really hold or accrue different values? Like maybe that's not the best option and use case, it's one of them, but maybe there's other ways we can do this.
And that's where I was like, okay, so where do you build value? And right now what the creator coin content coin, what all of these people are telling you is that where you will succeed in Web3, where you will succeed is by building value in your coin. And, and wow. I feel like I'm about to get in, in a van down by the river.
So, but, but the thing is that if your focus is on building value in a coin, that's very difficult, especially in like this hyper speculative, extractive environment. But no, no, no. Don't build value in your coin. You've got this, as my grandfather would say, bass backwards. Mm-hmm. So, um. No, you're gonna build value like Web3 will make some things more easily done, but you don't throw the baby out with the back bath water and be like everything else before this is just stupid.
We don't need to do it. Yeah. It's like, okay. No. Build value in your offerings. Build value in your services, your product, your art, your creation. Build value in your community. Build value in your audience, your awareness, your reach. Build volume in your ability to peer signal through the noise and reach people.
And if you build value. Then the energy of that value you're building will shift into your token. The token is not necessarily your, your, your, how much you are worth, you're a human, your ideas. It's not like, oh, I went down in value overnight and now I'm worthless. Oh, and I went up way high in value and now my life is worth something.
No, like there's, there's a false correlation there. Mm-hmm. And so. So all these things that are focusing on like your creator coin value. If you're just like, like, here's what I'm doing and here's creator coin value, you're missing, you're missing the whole good part of the sandwich, which is what are you actually about?
What are you doing? What's your passion? What's your purpose? How are you structuring that? What kind of things can you be, uh, providing? And people will say, well, I'm not about, you know, sales, sales can sound. But there's energy and intention around that. There's providing a service and there's being a value.
And this does not necessarily have to mean I'm taking from people. Yeah, some more of the intangible things, right? Where, where it's not as objective. To a more tangible a, a number, right. More tangible, but, but like, uh, tangible NFTs art pieces. Yeah. Music, uh, uh, services, uh, you know, like take a page from the Patreon thing and be like, Hey, you're my members.
You're supporting me. I'm gonna do a one-on-one, or I'm gonna do a small group. Like, there's all kinds of things you can, here's the problem. Monetize. Here's the problem. We have all kinds of web two language for things that kind of feel very impersonal and kind of extractive. And there's elements of it that are actually really good and valuable and and are helpful to use.
But then there's flavors and tastes on them that sound like the, that feel like the dark side of the force, you know? And it's like, yeah, but the force itself, it's not there or there, how you use it, you know, that's what matters. So anyways, all of that to say Empire Builder. Focus is on helping people go from dream, their concept, their passion, their purpose, what they can bring into the world, into their empire, their sustainable, uh, generative legacy, and, and how can we create and bring forward the tools.
Resources and the services to help that happen, especially in an age where AI and automation are going to help reduce the general costs. But we can also put people into touch with human assistance at, at very targeted, specific high levels of ability to help people. Just, I, I mean, I don't swear often, but rock their shit out.
So, you know, and so that's the thing like AI automation and human assistance. AAA doing a thing there. Yeah. But you know, so it's kinda like I'm bringing all this together, um, because that's what I want it to exist in the world. That's what I want to be able to access myself. That's what I want my friends to be able to use.
That's what I wish my brother had access to, like, you know, a million percent. I love it. Well, let's just rock over to, uh, the Empire Builder and take a look at it ourselves and maybe, uh, share a little bit right here. So. Let me see. Boom. So hot right now. Uh, so this is the ball empire. We made this, uh, three days ago here.
Um, and just leveraging, uh, this Empire Builder toolkit at the top. Oh, okay. Maybe I do need to make it bigger. Um, at the top, you can see here that. Um, anyone can create a token, as Jordan was saying, with cla, but they can also pull in any existing token that's an ERC 20, um, which is really exciting as well.
So you don't necessarily have to create a token to create an empire. I. You need, you need a, you need a token as the underlying one. But if you have a token that's alanor from somewhere else, you can deploy for it. We also put in the creator coin function. So if you've launched a creator coin, 'cause we wanna show that you could even have utility for those, um, a core content coin.
You could put an empire on that. If you've launched a different token through something that's not, you can launch a, you can make an awakened empire for it, but you need to be one of the top five holders. Awesome. Perfect. That's an important distinguishment. Exactly. Sorry for interrupting. Please continue.
No, no, no worries. Do you wanna share a little bit here and then walk us through, um, empire Builder and we can just go through and try out some different pieces? Well, so sure. So, so. Going back to like the idea of why Empire Builder. I had worked and I have not worked, but I'd helped out a number of term projects, uh, NFT projects, on chain projects.
And there's always these things. I was like, I wish I had this kind of setup or arrangement because it'd be really helpful. And I was like, I want a re, I want a treasury. So if you click on treasury, you can click jump through that top right whole bar. You can do there. But even up higher above, there's all those little boop boop boop if you click on them.
Up higher on the right. Yeah, it's get like boom, takes you to treasure. It's quick. It's so beautiful. I mean, if you click on, uh, airdrop Distributed, it's gonna pop the receipts for you so you can see you burned three days ago. Airdrop, once you've dropped Air NFTs, that'll be there. If you click on distribution, once you've distributed, you'll be able to see there.
I did a raffle to this many people. Heck, if you go to the search function right now, go in the top left, click on the little Empire looking logo. Uh yep. Uh, right there. Boom. Type in GM yb. Actually, you could see me on there too. So this is my GM y GM from the Ybr er. This is my own personal empire. I did a lot of gifting over Christmas.
You can upload your own banner like I did there. If you click on distribute it. Look at that. So now you can see the receipt Seven days ago, x eight to eight days ago, how many days ago? What I dropped, who I dropped it to. You can click, we can click share, we can populate another cast out to those people being like, Hey, I distributed all of this.
Um, you know, so it's showing you what was raffled. So this one's in green. That was just a even distribution, that one is in hot pink above it. So that was a raffle. So I, I, this was like, uh. Two 50, at least $1 each of lanker to everybody on my leaderboard. So you can see including myself. So yes, I, um, so, so this is like the distributed one.
You close this, click on burned. Click on burned there. You get there, you get the burn, you get the, how many days ago, et cetera, et cetera. Burn, burn, click on air, um, air dropped. So this is using the airdrop tool to send out NFTs some look, I, I did an apostle by Jesus. Mm-hmm. Uh, I, I, I raffled that out. Um, you can raffle.
You can also do like just standard airdrop, like a number folders, all 250 of them if you want, uh, on your leaderboard so you can easily see the history. Again, it's on chain, but here I love how. Easily, it brings it forward. So you can like, take a screenshot of that and you could like, share it or post it or cont or, you know, people can come to your empire and they can be like, this guy showed up, he's been delivering, you know, you can check that out.
So if you click on the treasury, it's gonna take you boom, right? To the treasury. But, uh, do, shall we go look at this ball? Perfect. Yes. Let's, uh, let's rock it out. So, yeah, we can, um, we can do a distribute, uh, we can do a burn just to show it. Nice, easy, simple press on burn right here on the treasury. You can do, uh, however much you want.
That's in the treasury. So we're, we're just gonna do a nice, uh, like one nice, even 1 million. And, um, it's just, uh, having me do a transaction here on my wallet. Boom. That easy. And I'm gonna also share. Out to far caster as a quick tweet. Um, and you can see that the, um, embed here also shows the, um, amount that, um, has been burnt and distributed all times.
So we'll send this out to the, the ball. Boom. And then someone could click right on that and come into the mini app for, um, for the clank For the empire. Yeah, exactly. So that was, uh, the burning feature. We can also go here to the. Um, leaderboard. We're, we're on your forecaster screen right now. Oh, apologies.
Thank you. Boom. So that was the, uh, burn feature with the treasury, and as you can see, it's been updated here. The other thing you can do here at the treasury level is press distribute. One of the things we're just gonna do before distributing here is this, remove is, okay. No. How do you remove one person?
Is it update? Okay, so you wanna remove someone from out of it. Yeah, me. So go to your, go to the standards. Zal. Leaderboard, just like the orig, the OG one. There you go. Manage. Now you can manage it in there, and so you'll put your own address in there. You can remove yourself from showing up on the leaderboard.
This is also something any, any other project or people can do if they have wallets holding like a treasury amount or things like this, so that way they're not automatically just gonna be dominating. I think I need, and I can see that you've also created the Zeal Far Caster. Only Leaderboard, which is a personal favorite of mine.
Well done. Perfect. Do yeah. No. Do you wanna explain a little bit more? Sure. So of the other leaderboards here. Okay. Yeah, sure. So, so it's pretty good it the NFT. So basically, uh, you can think of the empire again as being like your core central token. This is like the locus that you're moving around. This is where, uh, people who hold your token, that's the core element of generating the score for leader on your leaderboard.
You, you, their token holdings multiplied by your booster score gives you your, your rank on the leaderboard. So that's, that's the quick leaderboard. That's like what a leaderboard is about, about. So now in terms of different custom leaderboards, like you were saying, uh, you clicked on ad leaderboard. Um, so different custom leaderboards, we've got an NFT one.
So you can just load up like, uh, say you have an NFT collection, you're minting or you have like a classic one. Maybe you have one that's like super high value or anything like this. You can. Make a leaderboard that will look for wallets holding, it'll, it'll search the top token holders. It'll find who's holding those NFTs, and then it'll add the, uh, booster score to it if you want.
And you'll be able to get a leaderboard just of those NFT holders. And then you could like reward them. You could do like airdrops, you could do distributions, you could raffle off other copies of that NFT say you're minting. I thought about that the other day. I was like, Hey, if you're doing a mint, you can make a, a thing and be like, okay.
So everyone who's minted so far, uh, we're gonna do a raffle of like five new nft, five NFTs from the collection that's minting actively to everyone who's holding. So, you know, in there. So you can, and that's just the airdrop NFTs right here. Yep. Exactly. So just like a distribution. So we'll do the distribution first.
Sure, sure. Um, uh, and you refre, you, you refreshed your leaderboard, right? Did, did. Okay. So I was doing that while we were waiting. Um, so my name's no longer here, as you guys can see, which I think Adrian's first distributions Exactly. Look at him cooking and killing, because we actually haven't, we haven't added any boosters yet.
So that's our, that's our next step. But we'll do distribution pre boosters and then a distribution after boosters. So. We're gonna go to far Caster only, um, to give out to individuals from the, um, to give out to individuals from the, um, from the far caster leaderboard. So we know that we have some social score, so we'll do, we'll do $5 here and we'll do I think there's only 20 people.
On the, um, okay, so, so, okay, you're in raffle. There we go. Yeah. So I just switched into raffle mode here. So there's only 20 people on the leaderboard, so we're just gonna give two of the top 20 people. Um, randomly two 50 each. Two 50 each, exactly. Uh, no, I, so this is just USDC. Oh, USDC. Oh, nice. Okay. Yes, exactly.
I popped in some USDC in here so that we can do some distributions that, uh, people can, uh, you know, actually get some dollars. I like it. Not have to feel like they, they have to sell. Well, that's the other, so that's the other thing, like, you know, traditionally you would get your, your. Your fees would generate in both we and, and your core token.
Um, in your case, I'm, I'm curious if you're getting your fees in, in Sal and Ang token. Yeah, no, exactly. So, so that is something, so you could distribute both of those. Yeah. So saying is one of the ones I do wanna add in here, which actually is a good example of, um, of adding a token to the Treasury as a, let me go back here.
We're looking at your Yep. Um, so yeah. Do you wanna say a few words on the different tokens of the treasuries while I get the saying address? Yeah, I mean, so basically in the treasury standard, it, it comes with clank. Lanker, which is our Empire builder token, and we automatically and USDC automatically, uh, whitelisted as acceptable tokens.
You have to go in to manage the authorized tokens that you want to be able to interact with. This is a safety feature to stop anyone. Sending some kind of sch, nasty token into your wallet, and then you accidentally engaging with it when you don't want to. So this is why you have to authorize tokens that aren't explicitly already there.
Perfect. So as you can see, it was as easy as, uh, as the manager pressing, manage authorized tokens, putting in a wallet address here, and, uh, uh, sorry, a. Contract address here, um, for saying, um, and as you can see, you could see the UI that the saying pulled up here and now anyone can add, sang to the Ebola empire here.
So that's pretty cool. Um, and that's a great point, like I love what you just mentioned there, that anybody. Can add those tokens. So that's the thing. It's like once you've whitelisted anything that's appearing in the treasury, anyone can contribute into the treasury. So if someone, so like, so Zeal empire is live, tokens are out there.
Let's say someone got in there early, grabbed a bunch or whatever, you know, they could actually put funds into the treasury to help you know, you grow with what you're doing. Um, or they could just buy some and throw it in there too. Like it doesn't matter. But basically community can contribute. Amazing. I love that.
I just popped in $5 there in San so now we have three different tokens all in the treasury that we can play around with and my whole goal with the Zal also is to do a lot of this on live streams. So, um, I would love to figure out, um, is there a way you could do distributions to specific wallet addresses?
Um. Based on that, or I guess you would want to potentially do a, a specific leaderboard on an NFT that you give out. During a, like, uh, let's say a one-time event, uh, thing happens and you wanna do a distribution based on people on that, do you guys have a, a system in place, uh, that you, you would go with something like that?
If you go to the ad leaderboard, there's a couple different ways you do this. Go to ad leaderboard. If you dropped NFTs to people, uh, you could make, you know, who are at a live event, kinda like a PO app. You could, you could make an NFT leaderboard and you would just reward the people who are there. If you go back to leaderboard again, another option is the manual.
CSV. Mm-hmm. Yeah. I see. So you could create a manual CSV of like, say you did an event that's a user, you did an event and you and, and say you collected wallets from people who are present. Uh, and you were like, okay, so I know that these people here, they signed in, they signed the guest book or whatever.
You could download that and you could upload that as a leaderboard. Apply boosters or not, you can reward them. But below that, again, the more technical option. Mm-hmm. API endpoint. So this is where with your own, if this is a bit more technical, 'cause this is not the no code only part. This is the, this is the, I know how to do code and I wanna do more.
And so that's where if you build any kind of mini app, website, et cetera, you can create a, and you create a list where you're storing stuff that is an API endpoint, you can then pull that into its own leaderboard. Amazing. So we 100% be trying that. That's gonna be my, our big, big exciting part of this is the leaderboards on top of the leaderboards.
Right? So how can we, we do, yeah, because you could, could do, bring all this together. I'm just, I, I'm just thinking right off the top of my head, like with your own streaming application, uh, if you are able to pull wall, the address of who's watching live right then. You could create an endpoint that is a list of the people that are watching right now live, and then you could pull that into here as an API endpoint.
You could hit refresh and at the, at the moment it makes that call. Yeah. It would be up to date as the people who are watching of, right. Then one of I was actually thinking about is I made this mini app for our live stream so that. Uh, right now it's pretty simple, but I wanna add a little bit more. But people can come in and choose how they want, um, the next stream to go.
So let's say like social, um, you could submit the vote and I wanna add it so that every single person that's voting every single day is, you know, pinging one to its own leaderboard. So my plan here is to bring this API endpoint right into Empire Builder, right? So you can invite someone else to. To come in and and vote, and it's just like a nice, simple, um.
I dunno why this won't go away, but, um, but yes, hundred percent. But yeah, that would be a great, yeah, no, I think there's a lot of cool use cases here for, for the, for the different leader boards. But yeah, that manual CSV would answer that kind of, um, that challenge. So that's perfect. Yeah. I love it. And, and, and that's where I wanna say like, ultimately Empire Builder is a tool to help community growth.
It helps you with like. Uh, sort of analytics, like you can look at your forecaster. You, you've got your zeal forecaster only right now. And what this does is it looks at forecaster, fids forecaster identifying numbers, and it looks at all of the wallets a user has attached to it, and it'll look through all of those wallets to get an aggregate.
Total of all the tokens held by all of those wallets as well as if they have the boosters, whatever boosters they have in those wallets. And so it gathers all that information to create the score and it filters out all of the wallets that aren't attached to a fit. So you can look at this and go, all of these people are on forecaster.
They all have social aptitude, they know how to set up a forecaster account. They're all participating in some way. So maybe that's higher signal for you. It's easier to look down this list and you can say like, Hey, I know these people. I know these names. Divvy fly. I've heard of him. He's the co-founder of Empire Builder Yaman.
Zercher. I've heard he's on a call with me exactly right now. And, and so you can see the boost, you can see the stuff we'll say right now that the Boost, if you click on boosters, the only booster that's um, applicable right now is this one, the Reputation Booster. So if you click on, if you click on the reputation booster, it's gonna pop open actually.
And it'll show you that we're combining a quotient score and an ETHOS score to equal total boost. So this helps you identify who, uh, who real community members are, not bots. Not bot farm or, or, or low signal farmers. Yes. So this is helping you, this is helping you reward, highlight, and reward higher signal people who are more active members in your community.
And I see you dropping a booster in there right now, which I love. Exactly. So this is my Zuora token here. Um, I believe, um, I'm pretty sure looks like it. Um, so five. I'll put in a Yeah. We'll, we'll, we'll, we're, we're gonna, we're gonna be posting a bit to far to Zuora this year. I still don't really think that.
Overall ZOS mechanics are the best. But that doesn't mean that I don't think that there's so much potential for distribution there with on chain people. Hundred percent. And this is no, and this is why I'm saying I'm not anti like that's why it's great because I have that token and creator token and I can still and add value here.
This is why I would say, and this is why I would say. I think that Zuora Rodeo, like all of these different tools, paragraph, these can be incredible top of funnel marketing places. They're great for discovery and awareness. Exactly. That's where new people can find out what you're doing and that's where you can put these things up there.
But then you can incentivize and reward your core community to hit those things, to ping those things when they go alive. 'cause that's gonna help you have a better chance of those things piercing through the noise. Getting more discovery and then bringing more people into your community where you can delight and dazzle them and have them be like, Hey, I wanted, I want to come aboard this journey.
'cause I like where it's headed. Amazing. I love it. Um, I am curious if there's anything else you wanna talk before we stop sharing here on the Empire Builder? Well, you've a few words about the intern. Sure. I was gonna first say without you clicking on the plus minus guardian, um, yeah. You can add, you can add more guardians to an empire so that you have other authorized people who can do all these actions.
Be careful with great power comes great responsibility because the person who you add there, the wallets you add there can also remove any other wallets that are added there. So stranger danger, only let your trusted people kind of be in there. Usually another wallet of your own. So like maybe your war is, uh, is there, but you wanna add your main wallet because you're usually in your main wallet and you wanna do this.
Or you have, uh, a co-founder, you also wanna be able to do distributions. You can add them in there underneath. I can see that you've added, uh, different. Tokens, like, uh, not tokens, but like your socials and things, so you can jump from there. Yeah. You've got a description. You can upload a banner, which you haven't done yet, but you can do that to make it sassy.
Oh, one question I did have for you that I noticed that may be helpful is the ability to. Add my own words on what this is, right? Like if I could write mm-hmm. Zo, Zora token and then like mm-hmm. Because I have a writer, uh, a writer, one from paragraph and also retake one and I don't think it's gonna show up.
Sure. No, and that's goods really nice to. Edit, uh, edit the text that displays at least it would be good to be able to add some more context. Exactly. Like have a field, to have a field that you could add context in regard whatever that context might be. Um, yeah, write in our group chat. Right, right. To Adrian and I in our Perfect.
In You and I's special TV. And, and we'll see about putting that in there. That's a good, amazing. But, uh, other than that, I think we're, we're ready to rock with our empire. We're gonna be streaming. Tomorrow getting ready for the Zal fractal my last day in the States, I think, uh, which is gonna be a little, a little wild for a couple weeks, but we're gonna be really leveraging the asynchronous tools that are out at our communication tools.
And hopefully if you, if you notice that we're live whenever we happen to be live over the next couple weeks, um, uh, then, then we'll be, then we'll be, uh, hopefully. Sharing more from the leaderboard. That's gonna be the goal. Um, and playing around with some of these awesome tools. Uh, what click on, I was gonna say click on update.
Get that refreshing. 'cause you've added the booster. Yeah. And the booster is, is a times five multiplier. So that, so you should see some more action happen on the board. It was a candy popped up from five, I think so. So what's gonna happen is you probably see some people move up and, um. This is why adding other boosters is really helpful, including like let's say you have like OGs, like right now you've got the people who are holding, who minted like early or holding Zeal early.
What I would say is make a collection of 250 NFTs that are like early Zeal, OG zeal, something like this. And then I would use the airdrop tool to drop that to the top two 50 and I would just be like, boom, you're giving that NFT out to people who are there on this day. Then you make that a booster. And what you're doing is you're highlighting and rewarding your active community members, the people who are coming along the journey with you.
Add in your other tokens, your paragraph, if you've dropped any, um, NFTs back in the day. If you've, you know, what you're looking to do is you're looking to highlight and surface the people who are the believers, who are showing up for you and who've been along your whole journey saying, Hey, I gonna get this.
I'm gonna, I'm gonna interact. I'll, I'll grab a, I'll, I'll hold a bit of this because I like what you're doing. And it's going to give more booster multiplier to those people. They'll go higher up. And so you're more able to focus on who your true community is not and get away from people who are perhaps just looking like they're trying to do the speculative kind of all this kind of thing.
'cause ultimately the tool is focused on helping you grow, nurture, develop your own community, your own empire. Amazing. No, I love that. I, uh. I, we do, yeah, we do have a Zow token, but it is on optimism. So that's gonna be one of the other messages I, I add to potentially, uh, have to add there because I, uh, treasury.
Treasury is, is going multi chain, by the way, so Awesome. Be able to, no, so, so, no, it's a, it's an illiquid soul bound token. I'm more meant as a booster. Um, yeah, no, no. I mean, like, you could add it. You, you should be able to add it as a booster, uh, in. Not too distance future because we're gonna be Oh, I see, okay.
So currently already working on that, but in the, on the roadmap, so, so right now our migrate tool allows nearly any EVM token with under 500 K market cap to migrate that token into a new empire. Clank or token. So this is an incredible tool that we've made so that if anyone wants to take any token they've built on any of these EVM chains, they can go through this process and actually launch a V four clank with all the new, amazing, wonderful features and LP pool and all of this as an empire CLA or token to deploy the Full Empire tool stack as a forged empire.
They can just go through that and make it happen. Amazing. I love it. And, and you can deploy it like, like on the bottom. You can, you can deploy that token on base, arbitrary or monad. Perfect. No, I think that is phenomenal. I'm really excited to see what Empire Builder and the ecosystem does here in 2026.
That was just like a Polish water cameo. We're not, we're not sponsored, but, you know, I thought flash, I thought I'd flash it across there. There you go. I love it. Do you have, uh, any last words for us about Empire Builder Jordan, as we kinda get going here? Um, well, uh, we're here to help you grow from Dream to empire.
My name is Jordan Orem, the air bearer, and you can find me on Forecaster or Twitter. Uh, you can hit look at the website if you have questions, just like at me. Um, talk to all. You know, whatever. It's all good. Amazing. Do you have any questions for me as we, as we wrap this up? Uh, what's top of mind? I'm more, I'm more a boxer brief guy.
If you're, if you're commando or so, you know, boxer brief. Boxer brief. Now there's, so I, like I said, I used to teach, I used to teach young impressionable minds. I've worked with all kinds of ages from preschool to seniors. Um, I was a janitor at a low income seniors housing complex. Really learned a lot through there.
Also, mopping is. So fun. It's like really zen. You can get like full body just into this and like you have a start. You have an end. Like mopping is one of life's great gifts and, and I, I stand by that. Anyways, um, where was I going with all of this? I don't know. I had a point initially, but now it's gone. I love it.
I love it. I love, thank you for having me. No, it was, it was a blast to get to know you a little bit more. Jordan, I'm really excited for, for what we have coming for 2026. Um, super excited to chat with more empires, what they're doing, how they're building, um, because that kind of led me to kind of learning more about what opportunities are out there and what different workflows people use.
So, um, yeah. Thank you. Yeah, no, and that's, and, and again, so this past year we really focused on getting the tools out there, getting the tools, establishing legitimacy, showing up, being here day by day. And, and the thing is, like you said, like I said, there's a lot of sayings. I say, maybe they're cliche, maybe they have truth, maybe it's both.
But you know, empires are built brick by brick. You can want and wish that it happened some other way, but empires are built brick by brick, by brick, by brick, which is, which is a showing up over time and, and so that's what we're doing. Each empire is like its own ecosystem. And then I, I think of it as like Empire Builder, as like an ecosystem of ecosystems.
And, and the more we can help empires and use it ourselves, like with my own GM, Arab Empire, like I'm dogfooding this, I'm using this myself, I'm demonstrating it myself. And the more we can help. Empires succeed. Uh, the more it helps all of us succeed and, and, and build more tools, get more resources out there.
I love what you said about, you know, learning different flows. So we, we have our own discord. We have, uh, a private DC group in forecaster where. People who are empire builders can ask questions. Jump in Discord is great for that too, but demonstrate flows. How are people using it? What do people want to see more of?
I mean, I have more ideas than I have time of the day, but, uh, you know, brick by brick, just keep moving forward. Thank you. Wow. Well said. I could, I could've let it off a better way. So thank you Jordan. And, uh, thanks everyone for popping in. We had a bunch of people saying hi over on the retake side. Couple folks over on the den side as well.
So shout out to you guys and, uh, Trey over on X. Shout out to Trey, uh, longtime homie. We gotta get you, um, situated with some Zal tokens as well. 'cause some of the challenges, um, of this, of this tech isn't, isn't for everyone. So that's some of the beauty is like, I could just. Send out some, some zeal right to the wallet and, and not have to worry about that at all.
So, um, beauty, there's so many beautiful things that, tokens that like that, that you can do as activations, as rewards, as generosity, as, as competitions like, there's, there's so much, I mean. You know, it, it's a beautiful, uh, horizon to be working on a a million percent. So yeah, we'll have to come back in a couple months, see where we're at with the Zeal empire, what we've done, where we've come from, you know, just the start.
So it'll be a blast to have you on again, and thank you so much, Jordan.
